I gave in and subscribed to Fairyloot again. Mostly to get early access to purchase their Queen of Nothing box! (Fingers crossed! Edit: I got it! I’ll have a post up when it arrives!)

The theme for this months box is Witches Be Crazy.

We are so excited to reveal the September theme for our monthly box and it is… WITCHES BE CRAZY!

You guessed it − everything in this box is inspired by witches. We’re doing things a little differently for this box, as most of the items are going to be fandom-neutral but perfect for your dark witchy hearts! As the saying goes… if the broom fits, fly it!

We have been so excited to reveal this theme to you guys and we’re really proud of all the items curated, it’s going to be jam-packed! For now, we’re only going to reveal that this box will have a stunning large tote bag designed by @bandofweirdos! We absolutely love their style, it’s got such a fun and witchy vibe!

Our book of the month is very highly anticipated and early reviewers have been raving about it. The story follows a witch and witch hunter who are forced to marry each other − expect romance, witty banter, magic, betrayal and more! This is definitely not one to be missed.

The edition will also be a FairyLoot exclusive − it will have SHIMMERY SPRAYED EDGES, ARTWORK ON THE REVERSE OF THE DUST JACKET and it will be SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR! We seriously cannot wait for you to see it!

Onipress Gift

I was so lucky to have been sent a gift from Onipress to thank me for sharing photos of Katie’s previous books!

I was sent her new book, The Tea Dragon Festival, tea dragon pins, a tea dragon plush (Jasmine) and an arc of her kids book, Dewdrop, coming out in April next year!

I was told I’d be sent the card game but it wasn’t included. I may need to pick it up as some point along with the board game based on Aquicorn Cove!

I am so happy with what I did get and I’ve already read the book! It’s so cute and I highly recommend it! Katie has built a wonderful world and it’s so diverse too.

Waterstones Pumpkinheads Rainbow Rowell

This is one of my anticipated reads for 2019 and for Autumn! I adore Rainbow Rowell and the minute I heard that she was releasing a graphic novel I knew that I needed to get it!

I pre ordered this from Waterstones as it came with a signed book plate!

The art is super cute and it already looks like this will be one of my favourite reads of the year!

Melanie Martinez K-12 Album

I was very tempted to get some of the stuff on her website but I couldn’t justify the cost. I was also tempted to buy a ticket to her Dublin show (I bought one the last time she was here but the show was cancelled). I would have loved to have gone but again couldn’t do it. However I found her album/movie on amazon which cut out the shipping costs and I pre ordered it! I’m excited to listen to it and watch the movie!

Update: I’ve played this album so much! It’s for sure one of my favourites for 2019 and I think so far in my life. I love it so much!

Amazon Book Mail

I picked up some new comics and books over on Amazon! I am so hyped for these!

I am loving the comics that I’ve gotten so far from the DC Ink line and I’m beyond excited for Harley Quinn’s one! It looks great and I’ll be reading this ASAP!

I’ve been wanting to get more Harley Quinn comics in general so I also picked up Batman Mad Love and the novel version Harley Quinn Mad Love. I’m so excited to read them! Since the above took longer to be sent out I got a 5 pound voucher from amazon so I used it towards both of these!

I got this copy of Jenny Colgan’s book The Summer Seaside Kitchen from Amazon for £2!! I’m so excited to read it! I love her books.

I then was lucky enough to find the sequel on amazon for only £2 too! What luck! I’m looking forward to reading both of these together!

My next pre order is currently the new illustrated version of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and I’m so excited for it! There will be a blog post when I get it in October! I’m currently on my Harry Potter re read before this comes out!

I came across this artist on instagram and loved their work so when I saw that they had a super cute zine for pre order I knew that I needed to get it.

I love everything! It’s just as cute as I was expecting and I’m super excited to use the stickers in my bullet journal!

I also picked up this super cute Cardcaptor Sakura sticker that went straight on my bullet journal!

Vintage Tea Tours

For our most recent meet up we went on the Vintage Afternoon Tea Bus! I had a lot of fun and we were given a free mug to take with us. I wish I had taken more photos but it’s not easy on a moving bus!

I’m going up to Dublin again towards the end of the month for another Afternoon Tea! I’m so excited and am currently planning my coord for it! Fingers crossed I’ll have more photos. We’ll be going to the Morrison’s so much easier to get a few photos!
